Apply for grants

At Koda Dramatik, we support composers, lyricists, producers, and arrangers working with performing arts such as ballet, opera, and musicals or theater with dance and revues.

Applications open on October 1st, with a deadline on the last Friday in October at 4:00 PM. Ensure your receipt is free of errors and omissions, as corrections cannot be made after the deadline. You can expect a response to your application in December.

Your application should include:

• Finished copy of your project
• Accounting
• Bank details
• CPR /CVR number

How we evaluate your application

When reviewing your application, we consider the following points:

• The material should primarily be self-composed.
• The project must be serious, and your role must be clearly defined.
• The project description should be clear and realistic, with a justified likelihood that the project will be completed and a detailed plan for execution.
• How do you honor the composer? The composer should be ensured both a commissioning fee and a performance fee.
• The music files should reflect your musical activities and be prioritized.
• The budget must be realistic.
• Provide an overview of any other sources where you have sought support.

If you receive a grant

If you receive a grant for your project, you must credit Koda Dramatik on posters, programs, advertisements, websites, social media, and other materials. It should be clear that you have received support from Koda Dramatik and and you must include the Koda Dramatik logo. Here you can download the logo.

Dramatik Koda has the right to have two tickets made available for the project.
