Learn more about what board work at Koda involves
When there are elections for either publisher members on Koda's board or critical auditors, publisher members have a number of votes determined by their income. The right to vote is set out in Koda's articles of association according to the following scale:
The increased number of votes for publishing members is conditional upon timely registration for the general meeting. The amounts stated are determined based on Koda's most recently completed and settled fiscal year and are adjusted according to the price index.
A publishing member owned or controlled by an author member is only entitled to vote as a publishing member if at least 75% of the works managed by the publisher are created by others than the said author member. Similarly, a publishing member owned or controlled by the heirs of an author is only entitled to vote as a publishing member if at least 75% of the works managed by the publisher are created by others than the said author. Publishing members that constitute a group according to Danish company law cannot together have more than 5 votes
