On your My Koda profile, you can verify if we have the correct information about you. It's important to update your contact details, such as your email address, to ensure you receive payment notifications and important news. Additionally, consider consenting to us sharing your email for licensing inquiries.
IPI number and artist names
An IPI number is your international membership number, which can be found under your profile at My Koda. Remember to ask your international cowriters for their IPI numbers - you will need them when registering works at My Koda.
You have the option to release your music under multiple names. This can be a stage name, or you can choose to completely conceal your identity.

You may grant others access to your My Koda profile with a power of attorney signed by both parties.
If you, as a composer or lyricist, need a manager, booker, or others to access information about your works and royalty payments, and to act on your behalf in registering works and reporting concerts, you must grant them power of attorney.
Koda's administration works for our rights holders. Managing proxies involves additional work, so Koda reserves the right to charge a handling fee

If you, as a composer or lyricist, only need Koda to give another person, such as a manager, ongoing access to information about your works and payments, you can consent to ongoing access.
Obtain consent for ongoing insigh
If you are negotiating a publishing deal with a music publisher and need to calculate an advance, you can consent to Koda providing the publisher with a one-time insight into your works and earnings from the past year.
You may need a multi-login for My Koda if you are an author, heir, or have your own publishing company. Through My Koda, you can easily switch between your profiles using the multi-login. Please contact Member services if you are interested in obtaining a multi-login.
