Your finances as an artist
Are you on top of your finances as an artist? Do you know how to prepare an account statement? And what about taxes and your royalty payments from Koda? Here, you’ll find informtaion and tools to help you manage your finances in the best possible way.
Are My Koda Royalties Subject to Tax?
When Koda pays royalties to you, the amount is reported to the Danish Tax Agency (SKAT) as B‑income. You are responsible for paying the tax yourself. You can do this either by regularly updating your preliminary tax assessment or by setting money aside and paying the tax in a single payment when your annual tax statement is issued.
