Distribution Spotlight
No additional month is included this time for DR TV, DR Radio or TV2.
The monthly royalty payment for DR’s national radio and TV channels, as well as the TV2 channels, does not include any new months this time. This is because the royalty payment for performances in November - originally scheduled for the February distribution - was ready earlier than expected and therefore included in the January distribution, which ended up covering two months.
This is due to the timing of when broadcasters deliver their reporting in relation to the internal processing windows. Overall, this means that the total distribution for radio and TV is significantly lower than usual.
How much will I get paid?
The royalty payment we send to you for the use of your music is based on several factors, depending on where the music is used. For example, on TV and radio, we talk about minute values, whereas streaming is based on the number of streams. Concerts are paid out based on the number of attendees and, among other things, ticket prices if any.
