Distribution spotlight
New work database platform
On January 20, 2025, Koda transitioned to a new work database platform, from ICE Copyright to ICE CUBE. As a result of this transition, our royalty payments are now based on the ICE CUBE work database.
The transition may result in the size of your royalty payment being smaller than the same period last year, as we have applied additional manual processing of certain distribution areas to ensure the quality of our royalty payments. However, this is only temporary, and we expect our royalty payments to stabilize over the coming months.
First distribution for Tusass Music
For the first time, the Greenlandic streaming service Tusass Music is included in our distribution, which offers music by Greenlandic artists. The royalty payment covers the period December 2023 through December 2024.
